Snuggly Fall Fashion Look

Hey guys! I was looking online for some inspiration for Christmas presents and I ended up putting together a casual look for fall and winter. Here are the items in the look:

I love this baggy over-sized jumper. It a great item to throw on on a nippy morning. I also love the colour, and the bare shoulder look it gives.

This bag is a gorgeous, neutral, nice sized bag for all your bits and bobs. It's perfect for everyday but it's also quite chic at the same time.

I love these boots, mostly because I love ankle boots, but these ones look really comfortable and durable for the winter months. Doesn't every girl need a pair of brown ankle boots after all?

A lovely pair of khaki toned jeans that I think go perfectly with the rest of the look. A lovely neutral to add to the brown boots and stone coloured jumper.

The last thing I chose was this gold necklace from River Island. I thought it would really add to the look and that the neck and shoulders might have looked a bit too bare without it. I like that it is a mix between a simple necklace and a statement necklace, not too simple but not too in your face.

I hope you liked this post :) Would you wear this look? What is your favourite item from the look? Let me know by leaving a comment down below :)

My Top 6 Zara Outerwear Picks

Hey guys, today I thought that I would share some coats and outerwear with you in case you somehow haven't gotten round to getting any yet. These are my top 6 from Zara.

1. Basic Parka (€99.95)
Everyone loves a parka jacket. I've seen so many people wearing them this autumn and I used to wear my sister's all the time. I love how casual these jackets are, that you can throw them over anything and still look nice. It's almost becoming a staple in people's winter wardrobes these days. Everyone seems to love wearing parkas in winter. Also, it's great that with this jacket, and most of the others I chose, that they last you for a few years and can be brought out of your closet for the colder months each year.

2. Hooded Poncho Cape (€79.95)
I really love the idea of capes. They are so cool and I love this slightly more casual one. It looks really warm and cosy. The only things is that your arms would probably still be cold but you could always layer lots of thick sweater or cardigans underneath to keep them warm.

3. Short Coat with Furry Interior (€99.95)
I really like this coat. Grey is such a great colour for winter and I really love the length of this. Also, it is so perfect that it has a furry inside to keep you warm through all the cold and frost.

4. Buttoned Cape Coat (€129.00)
I love this cape coat! It is so cute, like a black version of Little Red Riding Hood' cape. I just love the fact that capes are in all the shops now and I would love to get one. This is the most expensive of all the coats that I have chosen so it would have to look amazing on me to actually buy it because realistically, right now, I don't think I would spend more than €100 on a coat.

5. Parka with Patterned Fur Lining (€99.95)
This coat is a nice length and has the great furry interior to keep you warm. It's kind of like no. 3 but in black with less of a winter-y feel to it. Great to keep warm and would go with so many things.

6. Over-sized Weave Coat (€99.95)
This coat is a lovely pale pink colour and has a lovely woolen feel to it. This one is longer than the others and would be perfect for a really cold day, maybe if it snowed or was very icy. I love this because it is the typical winter coat but in quite a unique colour for one.

One thing you have to be careful about with Zara is that they sometimes do real leather and fur. The "fur" in the coats I listed are made with polyester and acrylic and other materials that aren't fur, but if you are getting a coat there and are against wearing fur then make sure to check the composition details on the tag to make sure it's not made with real fur.

I hope you liked this post. Which is your favourite of the outerwear I chose? Leave a comment below :)

Real Techniques Core Collection Review

Hey guys! Today am I reviewing the Real Techniques Core Collection. This set is one of my favourite brush sets. Now onto the review:

This set contains four brushes and a travel belt. The travel belt fits the four brushes and also has room for two more. It is really lightweight and easy to throw into a handbag or suitcase in a hurry so that your makeup doesn't have to suffer on the go. It also can be arranged in such a way that it can act as a stand to hold your makeup brushes on your desk while you are doing your makeup.

The first brush in the set is my favourite brush, the buffing brush. This brush buffs liquid and powder foundations onto your skin to give you a flawless finish. It's bristles are so soft and it is just the right size the blend your foundation perfectly. It's small enough to get into hard to reach places but big enough that you can blend your foundation out quickly and you makeup doesn't take all day. Also, none of these brushes seem to shed at all and haven't as I've been using them over the past year.
The next brush is the contour brush. This brush is super soft just like the buffing brush and is the perfect size and shape for both contouring and highlighting. Because it is quite a small contouring brush, it is really easy to do precise contouring to really make your cheekbones stand out, and it also can help to create a much more relaxed contour look because it is quite fluffy and easy to blend out with.
The next brush is probably my least favourite and underused brush in the set. It is the pointed foundation brush. I don't really use this, mostly because I love the buffing brush so much and mostly because it is quite small and would take ages to do your foundation with. It makes quite a good concealer brush however, because it can get into the creases underneath your eyes and the area around your nose to build a high coverage.
The last brush is the detailer brush. This brush is also great for concealing but I really love this brush as a lip brush. It is a great size and shape for defining and filling in your lips to create the perfect lip shape. This is definitely one of my go to brushes when trying to achieve the perfect red lip.
So those are all the brushes in the set. One of the best things about the set is that is is really inexpensive for makeup brushes. It's about €28.99 for the set in Boots whereas most MAC brushes that are about the same quality are €30 for just one brush. It's also even cheaper on Amazon for about €22. I hope you liked this post and I'll talk to you soon.

Bellashoot | Beauty Tips, Tutorials, Reviews and More

Hey guys, today I wanted to talk to you about a site called Bellashoot. I joined this site not long after I created my blog and I recently hit 1000 followers on it. Bellashoot is a great place to share beauty tips and tricks, along with makeup tutorials, reviews, your beauty inspiration and more. I joined a lot of different sites when I created my blog and Bellashoot is one of the only ones left that I still continuously post to (other than Facebook, Twitter and Google +). It's really easy to use so it doesn't take long to share your blog posts. I add every one of my beauty related posts to Bellashoot after I post them to try reach more readers. Another thing I really love about it is that if you have any questions, the people behind the site are really helpful and informative. They even tweet about posts that I've uploaded to Bellashoot so that I can reach more readers.
If any of you are thinking of creating a Bellashoot profile, here is a tip for uploading a blog post with pictures: upload the main blog post picture and then put a link to the blog post in the description part. I had trouble with that at the real start before I asked the them how to upload pictures with blog posts. Also don't forget to follow me on there ;)
Recently Bellashoot has launched their new iPhone and iPad apps so that you can now use Bellashoot on the go. With these apps, you can now use the camera of your phone to take pictures when you are out and about and upload them straight to Bellashoot without having to go home and transfer them to your laptop. You can also stay up to date on the beauty community's news at all times so you don't miss out when you are not at home.
You can also follow my profile on this app so my posts will come up in you news feed that you can easily check while you are waiting for the bus or in between classes. To go to the Bellashoot website click here, where you can use it on the web in case you don't have any devices that are compatible with the apps.

*Bellashoot asked me if I would like to mention their new apps to my audience. All the above opinions are my own and weren't influence by this in anyway. I am not being paid to write this post, I just enjoy using the site and wanted to tell you all about it to help Bellashoot promote it and their apps .

Collection Gothic Glam Lipstick (Seduction) Review

Hey guys, today I'm reviewing the Collection Gothic Glam lipstick in the colour Seduction. I love the colour of this lipstick, it's perfect for fall and winter. I got it in  Boots and I can't remember it's exact price but I think it was about €3 or €4. Like the Collection Galatica lip butter, that I reviewed last week, It's not an amazing quality lipstick. It's quite glossy so can smudge really easily and doesn't last an amazing length of time. I'd say the longest it lasts is about two hours before you have to reapply it, but I think the longest time I got it to last for without it looking faded was about an hour and a half. (with a lip liner underneath) I prefer this lipstick to the Galactica lip butter but it's only slightly better quality than that one which isn't that great at all. This one had a much better pigment and actually came out the colour it appeared it would.

There is a Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick that would probably be a better quality dupe for this colour. I think it's the colour 001 but I might be wrong. It's basically a dark winey colour anyway that might be better to invest in for about €7, rather than skimping a few euros on this lipstick and not having it last very long. I've heard great things about the Kate Moss lipsticks so I think I might get that colour and see how it compares. I'm sure that it would be better quality and I like that it has more of a matte finish which I thought the collection one had but it turned out that it didn't.

Overall, I love the colour of this lipstick but it not very good quality so I recommend spending a little more to get a lipstick that would stay put for longer. I hope you liked this post :) If you did please don't forget to save it on Bloglovin or give it a +1 on Google Plus. Have you tried this lipstick or the Kate Moss one? Let me know what you thought of them in the comments below.

Priorities

Hey guys. Over the last couple of days I've been really confused and worried about a decision I needed to make. I was worried about this one thing and felt like a failure at it, and because of that I found that I started to doubt myself at everything else. I felt like anything that required me to use creativity that I was doing or could possibly do in the future was a waste of time. That I'm nothing but mediocre.

I know things take time and you don't become amazing them overnight, but this one thing just makes me feel not good enough. Over thinking about it deeply during the last few days I've realized that I don't enjoy this thing the way I used to. I doesn't make me happy anymore. And when I really think about it I'm realising that it was an old dream of mine. One main thing that helped me make my decision about giving up this dream is that even if I could do it, it would be taking away from some of my main goals and other dreams that I have right now. It's not a priority anymore. It's being taken off the bucket list.

I'm starting to come out of my misery daze and realise that not everything I do is terrible, but I don't think that one thing is for me anymore. I'm seeing more clearly. I hate that this one thing made me feel that way and if I continue it in any way I'm going to start taking it a lot less seriously. It's suppose to be fun, and it used to be.

This quote really helped me in the end because even though this seems really important right now and that I'm losing almost an small aspect of my identity, because this is something I loved and connected with since I was a child, that it's not really that important to me anymore. I need to let it go.

If any of you are struggling with a decision, then make sure to keep this quote in mind. It might just help. Not every opportunity is for us. There are some things we need to let pass us by.

Collection Galactica Lip Butter Review

Hey guys, today I am reviewing the Collection Galactica lip butter. I saw this in Boots for around €4 and loved the colour (Pink Rush) so I knew I had to get it. I tried it on as soon as I got home and I was a bit disappointed with it. It didn't come out the same pigmentation of the colour that I thought it would.

I decided to try it under a lip liner (Essence's Cute Pink) to see if it would look any better. It turns out that it does. It actually looks the same colour as it appears to be and it last quite a bit longer.

The lip butter on its own

The lip butter with lip liner underneath

Although I said, the lip butter last longer with the liner under it, it really doesn't last that long at all. It lasts about an hour, or two if you are lucky. I think this needs to be viewed more as like a lip gloss or balm instead of a lipstick for staying power. It needs to be reapplied a couple of times throughout the day and has quite a glossy finish.

I mostly use this lipstick for filming videos because I would be scared if I wore it all day that it would either fade very fast or smear across my face. I love the colour and it's perfect for filming videos so I don't regret buying it, but I don't think I will ever wear it during the day because I think it would get ruined too easily. As soon as I eat or drink it basically fades away to just a pink tinge on my lips.

Overall, I wasn't very happy with this product and if I didn't use it for filming videos, I probably wouldn't use it at all.  I love the colour and I think it is really cool but that really doesn't mean much when it doesn't last. I wouldn't recommend it but if you are curious to try it for yourself, it's less than €4 so it won't break the bank.

I hope you liked this post. If you do, please feel free to save it on Bloglovin or give it a +1 on Google Plus. Have you ever tried any of the Collection lip butters? Let me know what you thought about them in the comments below!
